Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, Develops implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data. Acts as a liaison between the company, government and CPA auditors in providing the required information and ensuring that proper information is maintained for historical purposes. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise the accounting daily operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. 2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 3. Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting policies, ensuring adherence to US GAAP, as well as Local statutory requirements 4. Managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. 5. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting documentation. 6. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure all required documentation is provided. 7. Train and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on technical accounting issues and professional development. 8. Experience with import and export tax, overseeing tax compliance, managing tax planning strategies, and providing expert advice on various tax-related matters. 9. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations. Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis activities. 10. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred). 2. Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, typically including supervisory experience. 3. Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel). 4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Fluent in English.
