Role: 61 Develop an ML Architecture for L2++ ADAS applications 61 Develop hybrid Edge and Cloud Architecture from Perception to Mapping 61 Architect ML Fusion Concepts for Radar and Vision for BEV Perception to Swarm Data Collection 61 Combine ML methods with traditional SLAM / SfM methods 61 Define scalable MLOps architecture 61 Conduct research on the latest technologies in computer vision, SLAM, and machine learning. 61 Ensure the architectural integrity and scalability of SLAM solutions in cloud platforms. 61 Participate in code reviews and adhere to software development best practices. 61 Defining and continuously improving machine learning workflows based on best practices in the industry and establishing them within the team 61 Filing patent applications to strengthen the APTIV IP footprint 61 Working in an Agile SW development team
Required Qualifications: 61 Master's degree + 3 years of relevant experience or PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field. 61 Expert knowledge in ML Designs / Architecture 61 Expert knowledge in different BEV Architecture 61 Understanding of AWS Cloud infrastructure 61 Expert Knowledge in ADAS and Autonomous Driving Architecture 61 Strong software development skills in Python and optionally C++ and Rust. 61 Experience with sensor fusion and real-time systems. 61 Publications in relevant conferences or journals. 61 Experience with GPU programming and optimization. 61 Deep understanding of artificial intelligence, model building and evaluation 61 Expert knowledge in at least one common ML framework (PyTorch,…) 61 Practical experience with Linux, version control systems (Git), build systems (CMake, Bazel) and code review tools (Gerrit, Gitlab, Bitbucket) 61 Fluent in English.
