Responsibilities： 83 Database Management: 61 Design, implement, and maintain databases, data models, and related processes. 61 Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage through regular tuning and troubleshooting 61 Conduct regular database backups and ensure data recovery mechanisms are in place. 61 Develop and maintain automation to streamline database management tasks. 83 Data Security: 61 Implement and enforce data security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information. 61 Monitor and audit database activity to ensure compliance with data protection regulations. 83 System Integration: 61 Collaborate with developers and Global IT Teams to design & integrate databases with new and existing applications. 61 Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues that arise during integration. 83 Disaster Recovery: 61 Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for database systems. 61 Test and update disaster recovery procedures to ensure minimal downtime in case of system failure. 83 Documentation and Reporting: 61 Document database design, architecture, and changes for future reference and team knowledge sharing. 61 Prepare regular reports on database performance, capacity, and any potential risks. 83 Capacity Planning: 61 Analyze database usage and growth trends to plan for future capacity needs. 61 Recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades as necessary. 83 User Support and Training: 61 Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff regarding database issues. 61 Train users in best practices for database usage and data management.
Qualifications： 83 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 83 At least 2 years of professional experience in Managing MSSQL Platforms in a global infrastructure environment 83 Deep knowledge and experience in database design, Database Services in Azure with mandatory experience in MSSQL Platforms. Experience with other database systems such as MySQL, or PostgreSQL is a plus. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python is also desirable. 83 Certification in MSSQL Administration & Azure will be an added advantage 83 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 83 Familiarity with in-memory databases is preferred, such as Redis, Memcached, and Apache Ignite. 83 Ability to troubleshoot complex IT technical and operation issues. 83 Knowledge of governance frameworks and best practices in IT project management and good understanding of ITIL preferably certified 83 Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate across all management and operation matters in both business and technical terms. 83 Experience in coordinating and collaborating with multicultural and multilingual teams, promoting effective communication, and achieving solid fundamental data center objectives.
