Key Responsibilities: 1. Establish and develop key trade lanes and e-commerce products in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives in Greater China. 2. Target the increase of airfreight volume in Greater China, including Hong Kong and Shanghai, by implementing co-loading strategies and developing tailored airfreight products for specific locations. 3. Advocate for the "One China" strategy to encourage collaboration across divisions, enhancing service offerings and achieving synergies. 4. Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders and global Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to secure new business opportunities. 5. Work closely with the Head of Airfreight,Greater China and headquarters to adapt global guidelines to the unique market characteristics of our region, ensuring the delivery of appropriate products to each market. 6. Develop and implement differentiated services that provide added value to our clients, setting us apart in the competitive airfreight market. 7. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics within the airfreight industry in Greater China. 8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to understand their needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction. 9. Regularly assess the performance of airfreight products and services, utilizing metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement. 10. Provide training and support to internal teams on airfreight products, market trends, and customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development or sales within the airfreight or logistics industry, with a strong focus on trade lane and product development. 3. Strong understanding of air cargo operations, market dynamics, and customer needs within Greater China. 4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. 5. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. 6. Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. 8. Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
