RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes quality and reliability standards and procedures by studying product and Sonepar operational companies’ requirements with other members of PMT, sourcing and vendor management
- Establishes products standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements; conferring and negotiating with suppliers; devising testing methods and procedures.
- Establishes product evaluation and inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods, country norms, industrial standard; devising testing methods and procedures.
- Establishes rework standards by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures.
- Establishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
- Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods.
- Establishes standards and procedure of researching and analyzing product compliance and patent to support a sourcing program in scoping and sample qualification phase.
- Conduct factory audits, production sample inspection and pre-shipment inspection.
- Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualification of sourced vendors and products in effective way, Respect of defined Sourcing office procedure, On-time deliverable and completion of quality aspect job such as factory audit, sample test plan, sample evaluation and product specification & inspection, Full support of financial performance of the buying office.

PROFILE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The candidate must have an extensive experience of establishing and managing the quality policies and procedure for a sourcing office. He/She has:
- Brings “ready to deploy” processes
- Has great knowledge of using testing lab equipment for PPE, Tools, lighting products or other MRO industrial products
- Has good experience in working with a foreign multinational company
- Must have an engineering and/or a quality management degree
- Must speak Chinese & English fluently.
- Must have experience on Lighting Industry, standard and directives for EU market
- Good willingness to travel frequently
- Good IT skill such as Microsoft Office..
