As Marketing Manager of China you will be responsible for delivering the brands’ global strategic multi-channel marketing plan within the China market with a strong focus on digital marketing, aimed to support client acquisition, retention and growth.
Job Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy, Plan and Campaign Execution 61 Align and execute Global and Local Marketing Strategy, Plans and Campaigns following brand guidelines and standards. 61 Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing initiatives to support business objectives 61 Be the local brand ambassador to share nuances with global and regional leaders Digital Marketing & Social Media Management 61 Manage Chinese Social Media Platforms such as WeChat and Baidu. This includes creating the right content strategy and executing tactics to drive followers, acquisition and engagement. 61 Work closely with the Head of Marketing and General Manager to plan, develop and implement effective marketing campaigns. 61 Support global marketing initiatives to lead the deployment for Greater China. 61 Effectively manage digital and social media marketing campaigns per budget with continuous testing, analysing, tracking and reporting of results. 61 Work closely with the sales team to ensure the success of campaigns
Events Management & Execution 61 Manage and execute events and exhibitions, working closely with internal and external stakeholders 61 Strong post-event follow up skills, providing post-event report 61 Explore opportunities to expand the brand’s presence at local events not limited to conferences and seminars Public Relations & Communications 61 Work closely with PR and Communications Manager to ensure press releases are translated accurately and in a timely fashion 61 Support PR and Communications Manager with award submissions, speaking opportunities and more 61 Assist the team with written content in Mandarin not limited to website, social media, and marketing materials
Budgeting & Reporting 61 Monitors marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to forecasts. 61 Prepare and share monthly marketing performance reports with management
Job Responsibilities: 61 Experience managing Chinese social media and web platforms specifically WeChat & Baidu 61 Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, to interpret results, draw conclusions and provide recommendations 61 Excellent track record in 360 marketing, and lead generation, to achieve ambitious targets 61 Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment 61 Ability to always check for accuracy and correctness, especially English to Mandarin translations 61 Experience working remotely from a wider team based out of Asia 61 Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or Business.
