工作职责:
Summary
We are actively seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the open-rank Director role, specializing in Neurological Disease Pharmacology. The candidate will take on a leadership role in managing a dedicated team focused on the field of neurological disorders, including neurodegeneration, pain, and neuroelectrophysiology, and ensuring the successful delivery of in vivo and in vitro preclinical research and regulatory submission projects entrusted by drug developers. This position presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with professional colleagues across WuXi AppTec and global clients dedicated to neurological disease research and drug development, drive forward new business opportunities and make drug discovery against neurological disease more effective and efficient.


Responsibilities:
1. Preclinical Research Management: Familiar with preclinical in vivo and in vitro research and drug evaluation strategies for Neurological diseases (AD, PD, Pain, Epilepsy, ALS, Huntington, etc.). Responsible for the overall management of preclinical efficacy & PKPD & toxicity research in neurological disorders, including the formulation of study plans, evaluation methods, scientific quality control, progress management, and solving key technical problems.
2. Project Management and Client Interaction: Participate in project operations management, including client interface, experimental design, scheduling, data collection, and analysis. Skilled in identifying and solving laboratory issues to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients, enhancing the platform's reputation and expanding cooperation depth.
3. Team Leadership and Development: Build, train, guide, and manage a high-performing research team. Foster talent development through mentoring and structured training programs.
4. Platform Development: Expand and develop the Disease pharmacological evaluation technology platform for neurological disease in accordance with innovative drug development guidelines and quality standards.
5. Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of international advancements, particularly new platforms and technologies, to reduce development risks and improve team efficiency in drug evaluation.
任职资格:
89 PhD in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Biology, or a related field. Strong scientific research background in neurological disorders (Neurodegenerative Diseases, Pain Disease, Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders, Genetic Neurological Disorders etc.)
89 3-5+ years of research and development experience in neurological drugs, with a proven track record of advancing projects to clinical trials or product launch. Experience in efficacy & toxicity & PKPD evaluation of drugs in CROs or research institutions is preferred.
89 Fluent in English; overseas research experience is a plus.
