For our customers in the fields of mechatronics, automotive and automation, we procure electronic components, plastic and metal parts from Asia and Eastern Europe and manufacture assemblies in Bratislava.

To support our team in Shanghai we are looking for an immediate entry of a


PROCESS ENGINEER METAL CASTING/FORGING(m/f/d)


with focus on the machining process for our sheet metal parts done by the means of investment casting, permanent mold casting, die casting, forging and other related processes.

Area of responsibility
61 Technical evaluation with suppliers whether new products fit their production capabilities
61 Define, evaluate, and improve production processes with suppliers
61 Define product inspections (in-process and final inspection) at supplier
61 Conduct process audits at suppliers to ensure stable production quality
61 Evaluate supplier’s corrective actions stated in 8D report and follow up until corrective actions are well established and verified, as well as inspection standard is updated
61 Other tasks arranged by manager


Your profile
61 Deep knowledge of production and development processes for investment casting and forging products, experience in other casting methods such as permanent mold casting, die casting are beneficial
61 At least 7+ years working experience as process/product design engineer, with good understanding of workshop activities
61 Willing to travel multiple days a week to suppliers mainly located in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shandong province, but partly also in other provinces
61 Good level in written and spoken English
61 Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
61 Quality management experience advantageous (CP, FMEA, 8D)
61 ISO 9712-certifications – VP, PT, MT, RT – beneficial
61 Experience in dimensional QA inspection is an advantage
61 Experience in Casting System assessment (such as CQI-27) is beneficial
61 CAD knowledge preferrable (preferably with Solidworks)
61 Native Chinese
