Essential Functions: Under the guidance of the Audit Manager: 1. Direct and review audit projects to see that professional standards are maintained in the planning, execution, and accumulation of evidential matter. 2. Survey functions and activities to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of the system of control to achieve established objectives. 3. Obtain, analyze, and appraise evidentiary data as a basis for an informed objective opinion on the adequacy or effectiveness of the system and the efficiency of performance of the activities being reviewed. 4. Perform audits in a professional manner and in accordance with professional standards and the approved program within the stipluated timeframe. 5. Develop logical and coherent workpapers on a timely basis which are supportive of audit conclusions. 6. Write reports to management with audit findings after conclusion of the fieldwork. 7. Verbal presentations of audit recommendations to Senior and Corporate Management. 8. Assist in the coordination of External Audit requests. 9. Assist Audit Manager in developing or revising department policies and audit programs. 10. Assist Audit Manager to provide guidance for new team members focusing on the regional procedures, systems and polices. 11. Host or Co-host webinars covering various Internal Audit and Corporate standards/expectations. 12. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred (Accounting most preferred). a) Working toward, or already obtained, CPA, CMA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CIA certificate. MBA is desirable. 2. 4+ years relevant experience in Accounting, Audit, and/or Business experience with strong preference for major public or corporate audit experience and exposure to a manufacturing environment. 3. A general understanding of US GAAP and local GAAP is required. 4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). 5. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software. 6. Ability to work effectively with others and in high-pressure situations. 7. Analytical problem-solving skills. 8. Fluent in both written and spoken English, fluency in two or more languages is preferred. 9. Willingness to travel (30-50% of the working time, may include both domestic and international).
