Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Manager to lead our hard goods sourcing operations at our trading office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality hard goods. This role requires a strong background in sourcing, vendor management, and knowledge of the global supply chain for hard goods across categories such as furniture, home décor, kitchenware, and other durable consumer goods. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management 61 Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and supply chain efficiency for hard goods. 61 Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure a reliable and diverse supplier base. 61 Manage supplier relationships, fostering long-term partnerships, and driving performance improvements. 61 Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with company standards for quality, sustainability, and ethical practices. Product Development & Procurement 61 Collaborate with product development, design, and merchandising teams to align sourcing strategies with product requirements and market trends. 61 Source materials and finished goods, ensuring compliance with design specifications, cost targets, and production timelines. 61 Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure competitive terms while maintaining product quality and delivery schedules. Quality Assurance & Compliance 61 Work closely with quality control teams to establish and enforce product quality standards. 61 Ensure all sourced goods comply with regulatory requirements and certifications (e.g., CE, RoHS, FSC, etc.). 61 Address and resolve any quality or compliance issues with suppliers promptly. Cost & Risk Management 61 Monitor market trends, raw material costs, and supplier capacities to anticipate and mitigate risks. 61 Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions or changes in demand. 61 Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality or delivery timelines. Project & Team Management 61 Lead and manage a team of sourcing specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations. 61 Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of sourcing initiatives. 61 Track and report key performance metrics related to sourcing activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and project timelines. ________________________________________ Key Requirements Education 61 Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Experience 61 Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a strong focus on hard goods. 61 Proven experience in a trading office or global sourcing environment. 61 Demonstrated success in negotiating supplier contracts and driving cost reductions.
