Position Summary 83 We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Design Engineer to join our advanced product development team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of advanced electromechanical components in hybrid and electrified drivetrains. Your expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering, coupled with strong design and analysis skills, will be crucial in delivering high-quality and reliable products.
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities 83 Design and develop advanced electromechanical components, including clutches, actuators, sensors, motors, and control systems. 83 Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., Creo) for design, analysis, and manufacturing. 83 Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and simulations to evaluate design performance and identify potential issues. 83 Support detailed analysis of stress, vibration, and thermal performance. 83 Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of components. 83 Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and release notes. 83 Stay abreast of the latest advancements in electromechanical technologies and industry best practices. 83 Support the manufacturing and production processes by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance.

Requirements / Qualifications 83 Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 83 2+ years of experience in electromechanical design within the automotive industry. Experience with specific automotive components (e.g., drivetrain systems, chassis systems, safety systems) is a plus. 83 Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles. 83 Proficiency in using CAD software, particularly Creo. 83 Familiar with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software for design validation. 83 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 83 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. 83 Experience with Agile development methodologies. 83 Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. 83 Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to automotive components.
