Position Summary This role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to enhance the company's brand image, drive business growth, develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Main Accountabilities OE Marketing & Intellegence: 61 Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth by taking into account the latest developments and trends (e.g., digitalization, AI). 61 Understand the market and customers: Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities, and translate insights into actionable, customer centric marketing and communications plans. 61 Plan and managing a Brand-to-Demand system that is customer centric, Data Driven and outcome focused. 61 Plan, budget, manage and allocate resources based on customer acquisition and retention objectives for various marketing and communications activities (exhibition, seminar, and customer conference, Techdays, Tech shows etc.), monitor spending, and optimize resource utilization to achieve maximum return on investment.. 61 Design and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns such as print and online advertising, Social media, events, direct mail. Digital platform activation to build brand awareness and create demand to meet the sales and profitability goals. 61 Provide country/region specific information to the central marketing communications team in HQ in order to secure global campaigns reflecting the local requirements. 61 Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing services and materials. 61 Provide regular reports and briefings to senior management, presenting actionable intelligence in a clear and concise manner, accompanied by recommendations for strategic responses Corporate Marketing & Communications: 61 In alignment with Corporate, develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies that align with the company's business goals and values. 61 Continuously assess the effectiveness of communications initiatives and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results. 61 Design and manage internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet, and staff meetings to keep employees informed about company news, policies, and projects. 61 Design and manage external communications channels such as Social Media, Website, Social Selling. 61 Foster a positive and engaged corporate culture through clear and timely communication, soliciting employee feedback, and promoting two-way communications channels. 61 Create awareness for MANN+HUMMEL company in China. Public Affairs: 61 Monitor and analyze relevant political, social, and economic trends and policies that may impact the organization. 61 Develop and execute public affairs strategies to influence public policy in favor of the organization's goals and objectives. 61 Develop and manage media relations strategies, including pitching stories, arranging interviews, and responding to media inquiries. 61 Write and edit press releases, media statements, and other communication materials to ensure accurate and positive representation of the organization. 61 Coordinate media events and press conferences, and serve as a spokesperson when necessary. 61 Manage the organization's online presence and social media channels related to public affairs, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with the public. 61 Develop and implement crisis communication plans to safeguard the organization's reputation during challenging situations. 61 Act quickly and effectively to address and mitigate potential reputational risks, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as needed. 61 Monitor and analyze public sentiment and media coverage, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management on reputation management strategies. 61 Collaborates with Global Corporate Communication and Public Affairs in MANN +HUMMEL Headquarters to align on messaging and activities for further localization and needs. 61 Be the internal counterpart to work with an external Public Affairs Consulting Company. Others: 61 Ensure compliance with HSE legislation; apply policies and processes; ensure qualification, instruction and supervision of the team in the application of HSE processes, regulations and emergency procedures based on current risk assessments. 61 Master environmental health and safety emergency knowledge, have the ability to identify risks, wear personal protective equipment correctly, use the site's safety facilities correctly, do a good job of garbage classification, save energy. Key Performance Indicators/Key Result Areas Internal & External Working Relationships Internal: - China BU Head and function head; - OE Marketing Director - Global CMO; External: - Industrial Association; - Consulting Agent; - Media Agent; - CSR Association Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies) 61 Bachelor degree or above, major in marketing, business management or a related fild; Master’s degree preferred; 61 Minimum 8 years work experience in automotive or general industry as Marketing Manager; position with direct responsibility for all marketing and communications activities; 61 In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, online and offline tools, including market research, segmentation, targeting, positioning and execution; 61 Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team and agency partners to achieve challenging goals; 61 Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed dcecisions; 61 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders; 61 Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and campaigns. 61 Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines; 61 Willingness to travel; 61 Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English.
