Role Statement: Management of the Materials Requirements Planning process environment.
Key Responsibilities/Objectives 1. Manages the effective utilization of the SAP functionality to maintain and keep material inventory at optimum levels. Analyzes and manages inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet inventory targets and goals. 2. Control, measure, project and regulate efficient inventory levels of purchased materials in support of operations. Partners with warehouse operations (Glog) and CCP to drive inventory reduction through better use of the ERP system and delivery methods 3. Create PR,PO for weekly or monthly customer demand 4. Tracking open PO to ensure vendor delivery on time. Early warning on material shortage risk and slow moving62Material shortage management, follow up and coordination 5. Supports cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives, e.g. Freight saving project. 6. Maintains materials planning parameters in (ERP) to ensure accurate system message generation 7. Delivery Scorecard achievement: Ship to Request and Ship to Schedule performance maintenance, root cause analysis and provide correction action plan and long term improvement plan. 8. Monitor the backlog past due status (Past due to request and Past due to schedule). Identify and drive key actions to ensure stable supply and keep past due at a minimum level. 9. Billing attainment - Ensure sufficient supply of inventory and achieve optimum billing performance for the BU. 10. Develop and maintain a working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders
Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge: 1. Bachelor degree and above will be preferred 2. Candidates with good experience in planning function in a similar Manufacturing or trading environment can also be considered 3. 3-5 years working experience of production planning in foreign venture 4. Good English speaking and writing ability, CET6 is a plus 5. Good computer ability and communication skill 6. Familiar with SAP 7. CPIM certification and knowledge of IBP will be preferred
