1. Report to Product Manager. 2. Source for the suitable suppliers/factories to offer the best products at best conditions as per buyers' requirements. 3. Evaluate the suppliers in line with category priorities and corporate quality standards. 4. Manage the ordering process with the team, to ensure proper preparation of orders and related documents, to ensure smooth request-to-shipment execution. 5. Work with Quality, Supply Chain teams to resolve any quality and shipment issues. 6. Work with factories on sample development stage. 7. Organize and participate in collection meetings. 8. Collect information from 3rd party sourcing vendors to understand latest market trends.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business Management / International Trade or equivalent. 2. Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing / sourcing position, preferably with experience in relevant categories. 3. Good communication and presentation skills. 4. Customer-oriented with good negotiation skills. 5. Enjoys challenges, motivated and able to work under pressure. 6. Good teamwork and also able to work independently. 7. Familiar with European safety regulations and markets is a plus. 8. Fluent in oral & written English and local language. Knowledge in French is a plus. 9. Proficient in MS Excel applications (Word, Excel, Power-point).
