Reporting Line Manager: Head of lubrication management
Job Summary:
The lubrication competence center manager, will be responsible for the overall lubrication management solutions and products (automatic lubrication system, MaPro, Recondoil) of the company. Besides managing the team, she or he will be responsible for approaching and managing key NMO (new market offer) ASO (application solution offer) ICR/IPR (Localization and cost down projects) and supporting front line team and operation team to develop business opportunities and focusing on execute the success of the lubrication business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, structure, and further develop competence team to cover the needs of the market.
- Lead a team of committed and capable employees. Strong ownership, project management and leadership capability to handle the complicated projects and solutions development. Setup a high project-based competence center and ensure the localization rate to reach 40% in 2024. Execute the localization and NMO projects identified by Product line team in time. Strong network and project management skill in global lubrication competence center.
- Transform strategy into tactics and measures based on 2024 I&EB and lubrication management strategy. Set up competence center strategy in short term and long term. Manage and develop team capability based on the strategy and highly link to BU strategy. Clear the target and gaps. grow technical roadmap in a systematic approach, and continuously develop, maintain, and improve the technology by which client relationships are strengthened and the sales strategy is fulfilled effectively, Engaging, identifying, motivating, and managing a well selected network of key customers to meet lubrication objectives and narrow the gaps.
- Customer-oriented mindset. Understand the market application and technology trend. Bring the market insight into the product and solution development.
- Monitor and ensure all key NMO/ASO/Localization projects run successfully in Chinese market. Cooperate with global R&D team to exchange the customer/application and solution insight. Work out the lubrication technology as global perspective.
- Design for cost and design for quality. Rich experience in product development hard and soft skills. Lead and drive cost down and quality improve projects.
- Determine the budget and R&D resources needed to support the business and maintain customer relationship.
- Act in a manner consistent with the scope and principles of all company policies, codes of conduct and core values.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, automation and related engineering discipline is required, MBA background is preferred.
- At least 10 years of R&D or technical team experience in B2B industry.
- Management experience in an international company would be advantageous.
- Experienced in product and solution development in technical driven environment, ideally Customize non-standard products.
- Experienced in lubrication/hydraulic and relevant technical engineering.
- Experienced in change management, sensitive but persistently.
- Experienced in product development process and factory ME process.
- Ability to work independently in structuring, managing, and executing.
- Strong ability in Leadership and Ownership, project management, administration, coordination, problem analysis and solving as well as high working efficiency.
