Job Description: Supplier Quality & Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet our quality and delivery performance standards. This includes lead APQP and PPAP projects, as well as acting as the voice of the supplier in the company.
Job Responsibilities: 1. Manage performance for assigned suppliers with regular metrics review. 2. Conduct supplier performance reviews and foster improvement of suppliers' performance. 3. Deploy supplier development projects with the support of SQ&D 4. Support of operational issues with impacted GBE (according to escalation process) 5. Develop and maintain supplier quality and delivery performance metrics. 6. Manage customer claims and ensure timely resolution. 7. Conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement. 8. Lead Conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement. 9. Develop and maintain supplier scorecards. 10. Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to ensure supplier quality and delivery performance. 11. Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards and regulations. 12. Lead APQP and drives projects to final phase. 13. Validates ODT and PPAP with suppliers including change management in serial conditions. 14. Ensures all issues during development and serial life are being captures via Lessons Learned
Job Qualification: 1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 2. At least 5y supplier quality work experience in automotive industry 3. Experience on independently problem solving a logical and methodical approach, excellence understanding of quality tools and process (8D,5Why, Cause/Effect Diagram) 4. Good supplier management skills 5. Results oriented, good accountability, keep commitments 6. Fluent spoken and written English
