We are looking for:
One experienced and professional Research Scientist to work in a multidisciplinary team (R&D, Business, customers, industrial, product stewardship, legal…) to make successful business cases with timely and accurate customer communication on performance, quality, homologation, technical support.

We count on you for:
Developing new materials for water borne resin products or solutions and new applications to answer new needs for coating industries and comply with upcoming regulations, especially in the industrial coating area.
Implementing, following and enforcing Environment, Health and Safety guidelines (EHS) for all activities and compliance with roles for proper housekeeping, common equipment maintenance, etc.
Assuring the implementation of R&I projects in alignment with global business strategy and working on innovative products with solid financial impact to meet or exceed customer requirements.
Carrying out assigned projects independently and planning day-to-day activities and carrying out multiple experiments.
Mainly responsible for the emulsion polymerization, related physical properties experiments and the quick application performance screening, most on the industrial coating.
Ensuring the performance in terms of innovation, scientific/technical quality, relevance, competitiveness of our technologies and/or the technical solutions proposed, while respecting deadlines.
Co-work with the process and manufacturing team to ensure smoothly transfer the formulation from lab to mass production.
Co-work with Marketing, Process technology, Production team and QC team to set up the production procedure, test methods and define the spec.

You will bring:
Your expertise as B.S degree or above in Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering and/or a similar Scientific degree.
At least 5 years’ experience in emulsion or coating research, especially on the industrial coating or emulsion synthesis preferred
In-depth understanding and knowledge in polymer structure property relationships, emulsion polymerization, polymer and intermediates modification.
