The primary responsibility of this position is to perform inspection execution for static assets (equipment/pipes/tanks etc.), prepare for assets health check inspection reports to support Covestro's Asset Management and Mechanical Integrity (MI) programs. He / She shall closely work with operation to develop pragmatic solution to safety guard safety, reliability and license to operation.

Major tasks and responsibilities of position
61Perform periodic maintenance inspections execution (daily, shutdown and turnaround) according to international and national inspection standards and non-destructive test (NDT) standards
61Prepare for asset health-check / Reliability Inspection report and assist in repair, and modification to ensure plant running in a safe and reliable way
61Ensure progressive histories are maintained within specified Covestro databases and specified by Covestro guidelines
61Determine the most appropriate NDT techniques and applications to effectively and efficiently identify and quantify degradation mechanisms
61Manage technical performance of NDT service provider (such as heat exchanger tubing inspection, drone etc.
61Support government legal inspection in terms of static equipment management

Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience)
61 M.S. or above, major in Chemical Process Equipment and with 2 years of industrial experience.
61 ANST-Level II or equivalent level of general knowledge in at least three of following NDE methods: PT, MT, RT, ET, UT, VT.
61 Ability to plan, prioritize and implement multiple concurrent activities
61 Ability to work well with people in a multiple disciplinary team.
61 Good oral and written English skills
61 Preferred additional qualifications: basic knowledge of design and welding
