The Chinese branch of our business opened In May of 2024, and currently has a small team of 8 people that still forms and develops rapidly. Many processes are being established from scratch, as previously logistics and supplier management were handled by brokers. Now, we have taken these functions in-house and are assigning them to the Chinese office.
This is why we are currently seeking a Sourcing Manager to join our Shanghai office and contribute to our business growth and operational excellence in China.
Key Responsibilities: - to search for suppliers in China - to analyze prices and find partners with better quality and lower prices - to arrange SKU to a factory - to negotiate with partners, business correspondence - to search for carriers and customs brokers - to calculate products cost price at the stage of purchase, customs clearing, delivery to the warehouse of the company - to control and track loading - to make samples reviews before purchase - to control payments of the partners - to prepare bills, invoices and “fapiao” - to carry out export paperwork - to interact with customs brokers (representative of the organization at 61 customs). - to take part in exhibitions. - to solve QC issues with suppliers
Expected Outcomes: - Search products according to the tasks and descriptions given. - Work on up to 300 SKU per month. - Negotiate the prices and requirements with suppliers to make sure we get the best deal possible. - Sustain and grow our supplier network. - Contribute to the team's success and development.

Requirements: - age around 26-38 - Higher education (bachelor degree or higher), preferably in Economics, Foreign trade, Marketing or related - 3-5+ year work experience of trade manager (foreign trading) or related - Paperwork management skills - Deep knowledge of Chinese law in trading - Experience in working with Customs, Authorities and transport companies - Familiar with Houseware products, such as those for kitchen, living room and storage - Fluency in both English and Chinese, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel spreadsheets.
Compensation: We offer a competitive salary with performance-based bonuses. The compensation package will be tailored to the candidate’s experience and expectations, ensuring that it reflects the value they bring to our team.
Already included into the compensation package: - commute cost compensation - 200 RMB monthly; - lunch compensation - 500 RMB monthly; - mobile service compensation - 100 RMB monthly; - for each full year of work (probationary period included), the long service subsidy will be increased by 100 RMB (up to 1000 RMB); - PTO according to the law of the Chinese People's Republic.
