Responsibility 1. Formulate, manage and execute the qualitative and quantitative product plans according to business goals, corporate branding guidelines, and given budget. 2. Handle market research on current trending products, competitor offerings, sales data, and channel information. 3. Responsible for fashion apparel, home and accessories buy. 4. Handle annual / seasonal buying process from budgeting to launching. 5. Formulate buying strategies, develop OTB plans and product mix allocation to optimize sales plan and gross margin. 6. Track and update production status, merchandise information, cost details in the system in an accurate and timely manner. 7. Provide technical resolutions for problem shooting during development and bulk production to facilitate effective business decision making. 8. Regularly keep track of sales trend to provide relevant strategies accomplishing business objectives. 9. Conduct and analyze regular buying and selling related report for all channels. 10. Work closely with team and other related parties, including but not limited to Logistics, Operations, Marketing Departments for maximising top line and minimising inventory.
Requirement 1. Minimum 5 years’ of solid fashion buying experience including experience in high end fashion an advantage. 2. Degree in Fashion, Textile and Clothing, Merchandising or related discipline. 3. Good team player with strong sense of responsibility; Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese and Mandarin. 4. Strong fashion sense, detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting skills; Energetic, proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and meet tight deadline. 5. Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
