Summary WuXi Biologics is seeking a highly experienced and talented Segment Marketing Director with extensive knowledge in the biopharma industry. The successful candidate will act as a strong business partner, responsible for aligning marketing and business objectives and resources in order to drive growth and achieve strategic goals.
Job Description As a Marketing Business Partner, you will play a critical role in enhancing collaboration between the Marketing department and various Business Units (BUs) within the organization. You will work closely with senior management within each BU to align marketing strategies with business objectives, drive synergy across departments, and foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration. Your strong ties with senior management will enable effective communication and coordination between marketing and other departments, ensuring the success of marketing initiatives and the achievement of organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities 1. Develop strategic marketing plans Lead the development of marketing plans for BUs to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. Define and refine go-to-market (GTM) strategies including positioning, focus, tactics and marketing initiatives for key CRDMO service offerings.
2. Collaboration with Business unit Act as a marketing business partner to align strategies with BU priorities and foster synergy across departments. Engage regularly with BU leadership to share data-driven market insights and provide actionable recommendations.
3. Market and Customer Insights Conduct global market research, customer segmentation, and competitor analysis to refine service offerings. Tailor value propositions and messaging to meet the specific needs of target audiences and differentiate from competitors.
4. Campaign Execution and Optimization Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging internal and external resources. Monitor campaign performance metrics, refine tactics based on insights, and ensure high ROl.
5. Cross-functional collaboration Collaborate with BD, Operations, and other functions to deliver impactful marketing initiatives. Identify opportunities for synergy between teams to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Performance Tracking Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs for marketing initiatives. Optimize budgets and resources to achieve strategic goals effectively.
Requirements 1、Master’s degree in marketing, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, analytical sciences, or related field. MBA is preferred. 2、Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy marketing, marketing intelligence, business analysis or consulting for biopharma, CRO, CDMO in the biopharma industry. 3、Deep understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics across multiple channels. 4、Experience in developing and executing a successful product/service B2B GTM strategy to drive business growth in the biopharma industry. 5、Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior management. 6、Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. 7、Ability to think strategically, analyze data and make data-driven decisions. 8、Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to drive change and foster cross-functional collaboration.
