THE JOB WITH THE BEST STANDARD EQUIPMENT In the role of Complete Vehicle System Integration Manager (m/f/d), you will be employed in our Engineering Center at the Shanghai location in the Complete Vehicle department. You will lead an interdisciplinary project team through the mechatronic development process. To this end, you will be in contact with all function managers and some component managers to monitor progress in function development and initiate corrective actions in case of delays or deviations.
Your tasks Leading the mechatronics development team in a complete vehicle project Planning & controlling project-specific activities to ensure correct and complete activities regarding Magna workscope for mechatronic content Tracking mechatronic work products and highlight deviations to master timing Supporting Function Owners in developing functional concepts incl. breakdown to component requirements (and the associated safety & security strategy & concepts, if applicable) Tracking & controlling the function implementation planning at complete vehicle level Balancing between mechatronic functions in case of conflicts / diverging targets Planning, controlling, and reporting of testing regarding mechatronic functions up to homologation and complete vehicle type approval. Participation in tests with a focus on mechatronic functions Driving the analysis of deviations with regards to mechatronic functions Preparing, visualizing, and reporting results to project management and customers, including escalation in case of possible function deviation
Your profile Successfully completed university studies in one of the following areas: Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Telematics, Computer Science, or comparable qualification Understanding and interest in networked, mechatronic functions at the complete vehicle level Experience in component or system development of a mechatronic component Experience in leading a project team is an advantage Interest in cross-departmental project management Analytical thinking skills as well as an independent and structured working style Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working in a multidisciplinary project team High commitment and creativity as well as team spirit Experience in complete vehicle testing Ideally: completed driving technique training Fluent English language skills in both spoken and written form
