Position Summary 85 Work as Engineering Project Manager to lead & coordinate engineering activities of assigned projects for Dual Clutch Module, P2 Module, and clutch applications in diverse hybrid transmissions incl. HEV and PHEV of Commercial & Passenger Vehicles, ensuring the product development will meet the technology, budget, and timing targets during the complete development phases. Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities 85 Lead & coordinate engineering activities of assigned projects for Dual Clutch Module, P2 Module, and clutch applications in diverse hybrid transmissions incl. HEV and PHEV of Commercial & Passenger Vehicles 85 Ensure the product development will meet the technology, budget, and timing targets during the complete development phases. 85 Communication with customers and internally with global technical centers, plants, and suppliers. 85 Customer Requirements elicitation, review & align SOR with customers. 85 Sign Off engineering release for customers incl. all technical documents – RASIC, Assembly drawings, DVP&R, technical reports, product change requests, part approval requests, …etc. 85 Work as customer interface incl. preparation of presentations and present materials of engineering related items to customers 85 Lead for customer troubleshooting, incl. 8D report to customer, failure investigation initiatives (technical analysis, test programs, …etc.) 85 Support cost reduction activities 85 Support product improvement initiatives 85 Support production facilities and ensure that product meets production requirements 85 Support initiatives to obtaining new business / customers Safety: 85 This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires.
