The Role The Project Manager role is designed to support the growing number of multi-stakeholder projects within our sourcing team. With the increased scope and complexity of cost efficiency and supply de-risking initiatives, this position will ensure smooth execution, minimize risks, and maximize cost savings. The Project Manager will play a critical role in driving cross-functional accountability and delivering measurable results.
What You’ll Do - Deliver Projects On Time: Safeguard savings timelines and meet CoP/FBA OKRs. - Maximize Realized Savings: Ensure seamless execution of projects to mitigate delay risks (e.g., $153k per 1-month implementation loss). - Mitigate Supply Risks: Reduce disruption risks during supplier transitions. - Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate smooth coordination with Quality/Compliance, Merchandising, and Product Development teams. - Support China Office Initiatives: Act as an auxiliary resource for broader organizational projects. - Enable Core Sourcing Team: Allow the sourcing team to focus on high-impact activities like RFQ and supplier development. - Develop comprehensive project timelines and milestones. - Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues as needed. - Drive cross-functional accountability and ensure stakeholder alignment. - Coordinate supplier transitions to maintain continuity and performance. - Track and report on project progress, savings delivery, and outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Manager role, preferably within procurement or supply chain. - Alternatively, 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement or sourcing roles with demonstrated project management responsibilities. - Technical Skills: o Strong proficiency in Excel, including lookup functions and pivot tables. o Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Monday. com) is a plus. o Strong data analysis and processing ability. - Communication Skills: Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). - Project Management Skills: o Proven ability to organize, plan, and execute complex projects. o Effective at identifying issues and responding to challenges in a timely manner. o Experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives and driving results. - Soft Skills: o Proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented with strong logical thinking. o Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency. o High self-drive and initiative, with a commitment to excellence. o Strong negotiation and influencing skills. o Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
