The Channel Development Manager – Offline will drive growth and maximize performance across our physical retail and distribution networks. This role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics and retail trends, and is crucial for ensuring that the physical drivers (i.e., in-store and operational elements) are sufficient to support the channel growth plans. The role focuses on driving exceptional retail execution, creating superior customer value, and ensuring effective revenue management.
Strategic Planning: 61 Develop and implement a comprehensive offline channel development strategy aligned with company objectives 61 Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and industry shifts 61 Provide timely reports and strategic recommendations to adapt and maintain a competitive edge Channel Performance Optimization: 61 Manage the performance of all offline channels, including RTM and distributors, to maximize volume and market share 61 Plan, execute, and track the effectiveness of customer / consumer promotions and product launch 61 Manage channel development budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize return on investment Retail Excellence 61 Develop policies and programs to improve operational efficiency, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction 61 Conduct store audits and ensure adherence to brand guidelines and operational standards Sales Management 61 Work closely with demand planners to improve sales forecast accuracy by channel and account 61 Analyze sales data to identify distribution gaps, emerging opportunities and potential risks Build the organization Set right objectives / KPIs for the organization Be the advocate for data-based, consumer driven decision making within the organization
Recruitment: 61 10+ years trade/channel development and/or retail operation experience in Consumer Durables/ Automotive / FMCG companies with focus on local execution/delivery roles. 61 Proven results on business delivery & demand generation 61 Strategic leader with experience EXECUTING across consumer and trade touch points 61 Proven business accumen. 61 Innovative and creative thinking 61 Mindset and ability as a Change Agent - able to influence through functional leadership in a matrix organization set up 61 Intellectual hoursepower (highly analytical & strategic) 61 Drive for results in a prioritized manner (balanced sense of urgency) 61 Strong communicator.
