*** Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic PreSales Engineer specializing in Cisco, Dell, and Huawei IP/IT & other OEM solutions to join our team. This role requires a professional who can confidently engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide expert guidance on technology solutions. The candidate should have extensive knowledge of configuring BOQs (Bill of Quantities), utilizing configuration portals, and managing product life cycles from a presales perspective.
***Key Responsibilities: 1.Solution Design & BOQ Configuration: Engage with clients to understand requirements, develop technical solutions, and create BOQs using Cisco, Dell, and Huawei configuration portals. 2.Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest IP/IT/Telcos hardware and software offerings from Cisco, Xfusion, Dell, and Huawei, including new product releases, feature updates, list prices, and applicable commercial discounts. 3.Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and consultation during presales engagements, effectively addressing customer inquiries, and proposing solutions aligned with their goals. 4.Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, ensure alignment on proposed solutions, and support in closing deals. 5.Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain documentation, technical presentations, and configuration details for proposed solutions. Regularly report on pre-sales activities, forecasts, and success rates. 6.Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis to position solutions effectively, highlighting the advantages of Cisco, Dell, and Huawei products over competing offerings. 7.Discount Structuring: Understand and apply appropriate list price structures and commercial discounts to optimize solutions and improve proposal competitiveness.
***Qualifications: 1.Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Cisco, Dell, and Huawei IP/IT solutions, including networking, servers, storage, and software. 3. Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a presales or technical consulting role, with proven experience in BOQ configuration and utilizing configuration portals for Cisco, Dell, and Huawei. 4.Certifications: Relevant certifications in Cisco, Dell, and/or Huawei technologies are highly desirable. 5.Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in pre-sales and configuration portals for creating BOQs. Solid understanding of product pricing and discount structures. Excellent English in witting and fluent in oral English
***Preferred Qualifications: Experience in commercial discount handling and pricing negotiation. Advantageous knowledge in competitive IP/IT solution landscapes and emerging hardware/software products in the market.
