Reporting to the Design Support Manager the DFM & SMT Team Leader role involves…

What a typical day looks like:
61 Drive DFM and SMT Process Engineering to be an effective, efficient organization and provide professional engineering support to volume production, New Product Introduction, Transfer Product Introduction and EMS in terms of DFM & SMT Process.
61 Develop profound team competence in SMT technology, and Manufacturing Excellence, support whole organization’s operational excellence.
61 Manage human resource and competence development according to business requirements.
61 Monitor, drive or coach the responsibilities and tasks in the scope of DFM and SMT Process Engineering.
61 Create a coherent organizational culture to motivate employees.
61 Drive to establish goals and objectives, implementation of measurements and follow up of relevant KPI’s. Ensure the achievement of goals and objectives.
61 Achieve excellence in daily operation-activities, that efficiently leading DFM & SMT Engineering towards vital goals and objectives.
61 Ensure professional and timely engineering support to New Product Introduction, Transfer Product Introduction, Volume Production and EMS.
61 Be an active participant in relevant improvement programs, support and encourage continuous improvements.
61 Be actively involved in yield improvement and product quality improvement.
61 Manage processes that are owned by DFM and SMT Process Engineering.
61 Ensure advanced technology & Processes in DFM and SMT Process Engineering area by actively cooperation within relevant consortiums and other sites.
61 Drive improvement of OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) for increasing of SMT output continuously.
61 Provide professional and agile support to SMT production for problems analysis to achieve an efficient manufacturing.
61 Be a senior engineer to support ROT (Request Of Test) of SMT in NPI, TPI projects, provide fixtures, stencils, prepare all programs, track whole SMT production runs and make final producibility report.
61 Provide technical support to QCC (Quality and Claims Control), FRAG (Failure Rate Analysis Group) on SMT processes related to improve quality yield within supply chain.
61 Ability to resolve, define and design the system and subsystems approaches to meet project and program design goals, requirements, and schedules.
61 Be a senior engineer to actively involve in new platform product designing phase to providing DFx related technical proposal.
61 Drive and performed DFM activities to facilitate manufacturing in prototype and pre-series test run even further mass production.
61 Design and perform D.O.E for new process and research activities. coordinate with R&D about DFM implementations.
61 Review and define new designing products design rules and provide professional ideas.
61 Review design document and make sure all production documents ready for each production test runs.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
61 Bachelor degree or above in the area of Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronics or relevant.
61 Experienced and showing a proven track record in Engineering, Manufacturing in Electronics industry.
61 Be familiar with SMT & Assembly processes and equipment.
61 Deep understanding of all related and advanced manufacturing-technology processes.
61 Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma is preferred.
61 Good Power Module knowledge, products and processes is a plus.
61 Fluent in English, oral and written.
61 Good communications, interpersonal, and influencing skills and leadership.
61 Good knowledge and experience in people management.
61 Several years working experience as DFM engineer in power modules manufacturing is preferred.
61 NPI experiences with good understanding and risk awareness
61 Automatic experience is preferred.
61 Agile system experience is preferred
61 Valor NPI skill is preferred.
