Must have (Container leasing or shipping liners background) This position plays a crucial part in optimize the development of sourcing, implementation & administration of Assets Management System to fully accomplish Company’s requirements & well function as to achieve maximization of economic returns and enhance the automation and in systematical manners over asset life cycle of the Company.
A) Responsibilities: 1) Assets Management System: a. Develop Assets Management System from initial stage by collecting & summarizing requirements of users & management from the whole container leasing business cycle which involves procurement, marketing, operations, billings, resale, finance etc. Also, to assist the formulation of the analytical report to facilitate the manage decision making. Guide and assist relevant colleagues to prepare comprehensive SOPs for each process of container leasing business cycle to meet the business targets of the Company. b. Source & communicate with system provider to ensure that the functions & specifications of system meets users’ requirements & attain the business strategy & targets of Company. c. Make recommendations regarding the improvement of processes of container leasing business cycle as to ensure the system fully function and meet business targets of the Company. d. Work with system provider to make enhancements of system and ensure system is successfully implemented within targeted time and budget. e. Implement performance monitoring metrics to track the performance and continuously review the feedback and make adjustments to improve efficiency & effectiveness of the system. f. Good understanding of logistics and supply chain management, logistics information systems, principles of forecasting, and principles of budgeting and financial management g. All rounded understanding the origination processes, ensuring effective leasing practices are in place to facilitate operational success managed by the team. h. Develop and implement strategies with comprehensive understanding of the container manufacturing cycle, invoicing, contract preparation, and asset management is critical.
2) Fleet Management: a. Monitor and evaluate the new and depot units’ inventories, identify the problematic areas included long idling, surplus and deficit locations. b. To provide recommendations for sorting out the problem by getting what means of logistical moves.
3) Contract Management: a. Implementation of contracts storage and retrieve system which aligned with the company compliance and procedures. b. Determine the appropriate algorithm to differentiate different type of contract terms to be applied in the assets management system. c. Ensure the contracts content is properly entered into the assets management system. d. Monitor the performance of the contract signing process and identify the backlog and taken into actions.
4) Billings: a. Monitor the Leasing rental and self-billings generation processes are punctual and accurate. b. Ensure the billing processes and procedures are in line with company compliances. c. Identify the possible ad-hoc billing adjustments and develop the authorization process to make sure such changes are properly allocated into system records.
B) Requirement: 1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in container leasing or shipping liners or related fields, with a strong understanding of container leasing business operations. 3. Proven knowledge of whole container leasing cycle with comprehensive understanding of fleet management principles, self-billing methodologies. 4. Experience in implementation of container leasing business system is highly preferrable. 5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with strong analytical skills, & proficiency in data analysis and reporting. 6. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
