We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced marketing professional with business management experience to lead the marketing and growth initiatives for Cactus Communications in China. This is a critical role responsible for driving new client acquisition, brand awareness and growth for our products and services portfolio within the Chinese retail market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and implementing successful marketing strategies across both digital and traditional channels, driving significant business growth.
Key Responsibilities Design and execute marketing and growth strategies to drive new client acquisition and business growth, leveraging digital platforms and Offline channels focused on the retail segment. Identify, develop, and execute growth strategies that deliver sustainable business expansion. Own & deliver on the revenue goals for the new client business segment, ensuring revenue growth and cost efficiency. Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, data and competitor activities to identify key insights and translate these into actionable marketing and business strategies. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates and actionable insights to senior management. Own the customer experience on our brand websites and landing pages leading to a lift in conversion rates and revenue. Collaborate with central marketing, product, business intelligence, finance and other teams to ensure alignment and maximize business impact. Lead, mentor, and coach the growth marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. A minimum of 8 years in retail marketing or related industries with at least 2 years leading a team. Candidates with experience in Academia will have an edge. Proficiency in digital marketing and a deep understanding of omnichannel marketing strategies. Proven experience driving business growth through strategic and integrated marketing initiatives. Deep understanding of the Chinese market, including consumer behaviour, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach, bias for action and results. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin (both Spoken and Written) is mandatory.
