GCA Security Operation Manager (GSOM)
The security manger will be responsible for managing the day-to-day physical security operations across multiple locations within Great China Area. The GSOM must be comfortable working in a complex fast paced and collaborative culture to support and ensure that security services are delivered effectively in adherence to global security standards and meet the expectations set by the regional leaders-Facility & Security. This role also contributes to the GCA Regional Incident Management Team supporting security responses to incidents which occur within the region.
The GSOM is responsible for delivering effective and efficient physical security operations/program support that enhances the delivery of service and customer experience for office, lab and manufacturing sites or campuses in GCA Region.
The GSOM verifies and adjusts security procedures to ensure the compliance with corporate security policies or guidelines, tracks audit readiness, and coordinates with site security leaders to ensure physical security requirements are met or exceeded in the GCA region.
Reporting directly to GCA ESW manager and dotted line reporting to APAC Security Leader, the GSOM works directly with site management and employees, and other vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
Essential Functions
Sec Ops: Routinely assess the proficiency and effectiveness of the physical security standards in GCA to ensure Solventum expectations are met. This will include management of daily security operations, inspection and maintenance of security access control system and surveillance system.
Sec Ops: Review and update existing physical security documentation on a routine basis while identifying areas to improve efficiency and align procedures with global standards.
Sec Ops: Support the GCA EWS and APAC Security Leader to communication and disseminate information by using established communication channels and best practices to key partners.
Sec Ops: Regularly communicate with APAC Security Leader on operational challenges, ideas and initiatives.
Sec Ops: GCA region badge program managing.
Sec Ops: Assist the training and exercise of the physical security teams to enhance their security operational skills and service delivery as well as to ensure procedures, escalation guidelines, and personnel competency are tested and reviewed.
CM Mgmt: Serve as a coordinator to support site management for physical security response for business disruptions and crisis management.
CM Mgmt: Work collaboratively with the cross functional teams and site security team to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact the normal operation in GCA.
Sec Project/Program: Take an active role, dependent on scope, to provide contributions toward security related projects and collaborate with internal and external partners on operational initiatives or projects.
Sec Project/Program: Work with the APAC Security Leader to coordinate the security projects or programs in the GCA region, including coordination with local functional leaders or managers on data collection, risk assessment, project schedule tracking and communications, future daily security operation procedures drafting and coordinate review with site leadership team etc. before the project formally handling over to site security manager or leader.
Manage/ assist as required in site audit and compliance reviews.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experiences, And Certifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least five years of physical security, risk management, crisis management and security system project and two or more years in a supervisory role across multiple locations. Prefer candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Fluent spoken and written Mandarin and a good standard of spoken and written English.

Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office requirement
Ability to be on-call basis to emergencies and incidents at all hours.
