Scope of Job:
Planning & Analysis – qualified technical skill, deliver the templating, monthly rolling forecast, annual budget and 5-year strategy.
Business Partnership – strong business sense and communication, partnership to business revenue growth and financial budget control, provide the proper analysis and valuable input to business.
Main Responsibilities
1. Responsible to lead multi-function category forecasting, analysis and reporting, deep dive the variance and provide the insightful input.
2. For monthly closing and rolling forecast, it requires strong capability on massive data handling from different IT system and spreadsheet.
3. Weekly reporting management, require the cooperation with various functions.
4. Proactively to drive the action on post analysis of each category tactics
5. Being a key business partner to support business on data analysis, model setup, decision making in daily business and projection.
6. Able to drive the discussion on category performance improvement while in each forecasting and financial plan stage.
7. Strong in business sense and risk control sense, ensure reporting of any new risks to appropriate line manager.
8. Strong communication and presentation skill to be a business partner role.
9. Health & Safety
Every manager is responsible for implementing Merlin’s HSS Policy, management system and related standards.
Within their own area of management responsibility, they must:
61 Show clear leadership and commitment to HSS; this includes setting a good personal example.
61 Develop plans that are consistent with the HSS strategy to carry out risk assessments and meet relevant standards, legal requirements and Merlin’s HSS targets and objectives.
61 Take the necessary practical steps to implement the HSS management system, including:
61 Providing suitable resources and training.
61 Defining specific roles and responsibilities.
61 Explaining HSS issues effectively.
61 Establishing operational controls.
61 Managing contractors effectively.
61 Organising emergency response arrangements.
61 Implement measures to monitor HSS performance and, where necessary, take corrective action. This includes audits, performance monitoring, and reporting / investigating incidents.
61 Ensure that HSS decisions are consistent with Merlin’s HSS Policy.
61 Consider HSS issues in business decisions and explain their importance.
61 Support promotional campaigns and educational plans.
61 Recognise and reward employees who show positive HSS behaviour and achieve HSS objectives.
61 Discuss HSS issues regularly.
61 Encourage employees to suggest measures to improve HSS performance, and follow these up.
61 Ensure that employees who blatantly or repeatedly violate HSS standards, procedures and rules are disciplined appropriately.
61 Challenge unsafe conditions or actions and work with those involved to agree the necessary safety improvements.
61 Provide ready access to skilled HSS professionals and / or accurate HSS advice.

Requirements:
1. 7 years or longer experience in Finance and Accounting area.
2. 4 years or longer experience as FBP role
3. Strong Market insight, experience in pricing & revenue
4. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or similar field
5. Progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and business planning – more than 4 years
6. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
7. Disciplined and hardworking individual - willingness to dig into the details.
8. Articulate and comfortable communicating with a wide variety of internal clients with different background within the organization
9. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
10. Strong business awareness and systematic thinking.
11. Fluent in English.
12. Applicable industry (FMCG, retail) experience preferred.
13. Big 4 + inhouse experience preferred.
14. New business launch experience preferred.
15. CPA certification is preferred.
