Position Summary: Lead and manage an Advanced Technology engineering group for thermal management, mechatronics, and new energy storage solutions. Give technical direction, ensure project execution, and manage resources to meet goals in line with company objectives. Drive innovation, efficiency, and collaboration.
Responsibilities of Position: Lead: 1. Lead the engineering group to enable execution of engineering objectives that support both local and global aspects. 2. Represent the engineering group in cross-functional, supplier, and customer meetings, ensuring effective communication and alignment. 3. Lead and coordinate collaboration with internal engineering teams and external partners to improve processes and project execution. 4. Foster effective communication and teamwork within the engineering organization. Deliver: 5. Define and track goals, ensuring regular progress reporting and transparency. 6. Ensure engineering processes comply with industry standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 26262. 7. Monitor safety and regulatory compliance in all engineering activities. 8. Support industrial manufacturing teams to facilitate knowledge transfer from development to production. Drive: 9. Conduct continuous competence gap analysis and develop the necessary competencies. 10. Identify and assess emerging technologies relevant to the scope of responsibility, ensuring technological advancement. 11. Drive innovation, efficiency, and collaboration within the engineering and cross functional collaboration team to meet business objectives. 12. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements: 61 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 61 Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, advanced engineering, or R&D, ideally in product development in a global environment. 61 At least 3 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams in an innovative environment. 61 Knowledge of engineering standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 26262. 61 Familiarity with automotive thermal management products, new energy storage products, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
Licensing or Special Certification Requirements: 61 Valid drivers’ license.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: 61 Ability to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time. 61 Occasionally lifts and carries up to 10 pounds. 61 Some of work time is spent standing, walking, lifting and bending. 61 Works within an automotive manufacturing setting and may be exposed to heat, cold, and industrial conditions. 61 Flexibility for occasional travel, sometimes on short notice.
