Job Description: Business Development Director Overview: Sales Target Achievement This position is responsible for the development of efficient and profitable long-term partnerships with accounts. The position needs to ensure the development of the accounts, manage and coordinate the relationship between the client and the teams involved, so as to achieve the expected sales revenue.
Report to: Managing Director CT CHINA
Responsibilities: 1) Complete personal annual profit target and other tasks assigned by the company. 2) Follow the company sales strategies and policies and client service guidelines. 3) Manage a group of accounts assigned by Company, including daily communication, relationship maintenance, proposals preparation, contract confirmation, contract execution, payment collection and services follow-up, to make sure clients’ requests are satisfied. 4) Record, analyze, report and administer according to MD’s requirements. 5) Actively develop potential and new accounts. 6) Maintain good relationships with accounts and participate in important sales contract negotiation and solve the major problems in business development. 7) Maintain and develop the sales resources and continuously enlarge the market share. 8) Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales departments. 9) Participate in company strategic meetings and work out policies based on the company's strategic targets. 10) Reinforce the communication and collaboration between the sales team and other departments according to the requirements of the company. 11) Control the sales related expenses and cost based on the principle of rationality and frugality.
Qualifications: 1) Significant sector specific experience is a plus, e.g. event production, audiovisual equipment manufacturer, event companies. 2) At least 5+ years working experience. 3) Professional appearance and attitude. 4) Excellent English and Chinese communication skills. 5) Ability to develop and manage client relationships. 6) Possess valuable sales resources and excellent market developing skills. 7) Profound sales project planning, coordination and sales performance management skills. 8) Experience in building and training sales teams. 9) Flexible approach, particularly with hours of work. 10) Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a wide range of situations which may require tact, diplomacy, and discretion. 11) Well-developed organization/time management skills to multitask. 12) Ability to prioritize and escalate tasks appropriately. 13) Ability to both lead and be a part of a team.
