Responsibility Sales Management and Customer Relationship Management: -Developing, expanding and maintaining customer relationships with the aim of generating new orders and sales in the responsible sales territory -Generating sustainable sales growth, developing and implementing complex sales strategies at account level -Work collaboratively with global teams (e.g. project and product management) to develop Key Accounts to help increase global market share -Facilitate business development through frequent customer visits and demos, building relationships with customers and key influencers -Develop, present and negotiate contracts (e.g. NDAs, Master Service and/or Supply agreements) with customers -Active involvement in the development and execution of budgets, forecasts, quotes, and contracts for the assigned markets/regions
Market Development: -Develop an understanding of market segmentation, application, customer needs, competition, market trends and market dynamics to support strategies to target new opportunities and identify threats -Pursue solid and comprehensive market research regarding Medical Technology and Life Science in China (specifically Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Surgery, etc. ) -Actively gather and analyze customer needs and market trends. Execute competitive research on pricing and competitors. Plan and execute market survey including VoC, and then share and report the insights with key stakeholders.
Project Management: -Involved in RFQ’s, technical proposal preparation, contract signing and execution and after sales service -Coordinate the communication between German Headquarter and local customers, ensuring accurate alignment of technical requirements and in-time response -Proper response to unexpected issues, with effective measures to accomplish the targets
Requirement -Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/Biology, Engineering, Physics, Electronics, Mechanical, or other science majors, and a proven experience previously selling and supporting similar technical solutions -3 years + experience in Business Development and Account Management in the field of Life Sciences and /or Medical Technologies -Background in related Companies and experience in OEM-Business is preferred -Proven experience in managing distributors and key accounts. -Ability to prepare and present effective product presentations, and communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFQs, and reports. -Strong network within the Medical Technology and Life Science industry -Basic understanding of microscopes, endoscopes and ophthalmology equipment -Excellent business management, communication and interpersonal skills -Team player mentality: ability to work in complex, cross-functional and global set-up -Customer-oriented mindset in addition to top-tier negotiation and problem-solving skills -Fluent in English -Adapt to frequent travel domestic and overseas, 50%+
