Job description: The main duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include, without being limited to: - Create and implement an integrated marketing strategy for the entire exhibition including exhibitor, conference and visitor promotion. - Overall responsibility for the development and execution of ITB China’s marketing and communication plan - Ensure show websites (English and Chinese) & social media channels are fully up to date with latest information. - Plan, manage and monitor online and social media campaigns. - Overall responsibility for the draft, designing and distribution of all ITB China related press releases and newsletters - Identify appropriate media partners and associations and negotiate barter deals to maximize event exposure. - Formulate media plan and set up media deals with external organizations to ensure maximum exposure at lowest cost to show budget. - Lead and manage the design and production of all digital and printed marketing collateral, including sales brochures, visitor flyer, badge, posters, print advertisements, web banners/emails banners etc. - Overall responsibility for the production of official show videos, photos and related duties including the onsite planning and management of photo and video vendors. - Overall responsibility for the onsite press attendance management including media kit preparation, media preview event organization, trade press stand handling and related duties. - Support sales department in implementing a series of sales presentations and or road shows to raise awareness of the brand to Chinese and international markets. - Create cost forecast, update, and adhere to agreed marketing budget. - Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
Qualifications: - At least 5 years of work experience in the exhibition industry with an organizer or related service provider - A minimum bachelor’s degree level education - Marketing & Visitor promotion experience in Int’l, Exhibition background is a plus - Good knowledge and experience in the use of marketing, designing related software and general software office tools - Good sense of photo and video editing skillset - Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese are prerequisites. - Highly advantageous if : - Good copywriting skills - Experience in running online and social media promotion campaign such as SEO optimization, google analytics, adwords & Linkedin campaign - Strong agencies, freelancers and vendors relationships - Personal skills: excellent team collaboration mindset, an ability to work in a multinational environment, an affinity to work in virtual teams, a high level of maturity, a diplomatic communicator and negotiator, an affinity to work on time sensitive tasks, an excellent attention to detail and an affinity towards the use of software- based work tools, a flexible, service-orientated and customer focused working style.
