Responsibilities - Implement purchasing tactics to ensure adequate supply of raw materials to meet production demand of plants. - Achieve annual costs savings objectives and ensure costs to achieve Marginal Income target. - Management of cash flow through achieving DPO targets. - Maintain updated information on Supply & Demand for major raw materials and outlook on future pricing changes. - Set and implement the relevant procurement strategy, based on the global procurement strategy. - On a monthly basis provide accurate and timely pricing forecasts (Variance Rpt), update on cost savings in data base. - Ensuring a practical execution of the new raw material qualification and supplier onboarding process - Responsible for evaluation of Supplier performance through Scorecard system. - Work closely with Procurement team in Riga on pricing updates, data management and other initiatives. - Provide data analysis & support for procurement decision, process improvement in APAC.
Experience & Skills: - Min. 5 years of procurement experience in the chemicals industry, which can be partially compensated by equivalent business, commercial, or technical experiences in the chemicals industry - Familiar with petrochemicals feedstocks and raw materials markets, including supply demand balances and supplier cost drivers - Experienced in managing fine chemicals (broader categories) from both tail Raw Material and vendor-wise - Strong negotiation skills and analytical skills including excel sheet and pivot table proficiency. SAP experiences required - Highly effective communicator, with influencing and conflict resolution skills - English working professional (Additional languages are a plus).
