The Indirect Procurement Operations Senior Supervisor will collaborate with Country Leadership, APAC Category and COE teams to assure supply of MRO (goods and services), CAPEX and other indirect categories for the APAC plants. The role will be responsible for service delivery to all Ingredion’s regional and global teams, such as operations, supply chain and commercial for procurement related items; assuring proper compliance with Ingredion’s policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities: 61 Assure supply of MRO (goods and services), CAPEX and other indirect categories for our manufacturing facilities through demand planning activities to properly allocate volume with our supplier mix. 61 Partner with plants, engineering, maintenance and other teams to analyze and share forecast, scheduling with preferred vendors to guarantee demand visibility and set up actions towards risk mitigation of supply. 61 Leverage cost efficiency through long term strategy agreements and deliver cost savings/avoidance within plants. 61 Develop and maintain Supplier Relationship Management programs to assure supply and guarantee vendor service levels. 61 Partner with operations and supply chain stakeholders to set specific scope of works and item specifications to fully align procurement processes and guarantee procurement best practices. (RFI, RFP, competitive value-added analysis). 61 Develop strong and efficient relationships with plant’s leadership team to identify needs and properly communicate risks and opportunities from the procurement standpoint. 61 Partner with APAC COE to identify, execute and consolidate standardization opportunities to leverage cost efficiency among plants. 61 Partner with global and APAC Category team to develop purchasing plan for indirect categories based on agreed strategies, aligning the plants’ needs with indirect strategies. Ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to the Procurement Process, and manage procurement process in a transparent and efficient way 61 Identify potential improvement opportunities and risk points in procurement operations, continuously optimize processes and ensure implementation plans. 61 Develop work plans, identify data needs, and successfully interpret analytic insights. 61 Support the sustainability related topics in the indirect scope, as well as been force of proposal for CI projects, new ideas, and/or business development.
Qualified candidates will have: 61 General procurement background, preferably professional in business, supply chain, engineering, economics or related.Ability to organize, schedule and successfully manage multiple priorities.Strong SAP background on the Materials Management Module. 61 Strong MRP/Demand Planning background. 61 Sound knowledge in RFI, RFP and cost/benefit analysis. 61 Sound knowledge in cost breakdown and data management. 61 Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel. 61 Sound knowledge of SAP. Ariba and Power Steering are desirable. 61 Strong ability in stakeholder engagement and Supplier Relationship Management 61 Strong ability in cross-departmental coordination and cooperation. 61 Strong ability to identify and initiate optimization improvements and mobilize internal and exteral resources to facilitate the project process.
