JOB SUMMARY The Tactical Buyer in the Procurement team is responsible for purchasing materials, components and finished assemblies to support production requirements from manufacture facilities. To be the initial point of contact for and operate effective supplier relationships with the external supply chain, demonstrated through the satisfaction of demand requirements whilst optimizing inventory. To manage the incorporation of new products by ensuring suppliers are production ready. Contractor period is one year and signed with CIIC (中智). Job Responsibilities Purchases from assigned suppliers following established purchasing policies and procedures and optimizes delivery, inventory and transportation cost which may include: 61 Placing and coordinating Orders (based on MRP Messages) 61 Ensuring On-Time-Delivery 61 Creating and submitting Blanket Orders to suppliers (in coordination with Strategic Purchasing) 61 Supplier evaluation based on regular analyses and evaluations 61 Clarification of deviations in deliveries in cooperation with Quality Team Luebeck, SQE in Shanghai and Suppliers 61 Handling of complaints / Order returns 61 Create and process Product Deviation Requests (PDR's) and Non-Conformance-Reports (NCR's) in iQMS 61 Master data maintenance [updating prices and conditions (in coordination with Strategic Purchasing)] 61 Invoice review / Workflow Process 61 Creation of Supplier Charge Backs 61 Participation at team boards 61 Support for projects (in cooperation with Strategic Purchasing) Plans, organizes, directs and reports all activities and matters relating to supplier performance. Participates in projects with other departments and/or external vendors driving performance improvement or cost reduction. Work closely with manufacture site/internal customer and past the requirements to region and prioritize across other functions. Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase, Supplier managed inventory, call off orders or other recognized industry best practice to support lead time reduction and lean activities Contributes to ensuring effective systems, procedures, and policies are maintained in line with all statutory and corporate requirements. Performs other related duties and special projects as required. Requirements · Language: good English and German both in written and speaking · Preferable of 3 year experiences working within a supply chain environment · Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office · Experience working with ERP, BAAN prefer · Qualified or working towards a relevant supply chain qualification · Experience working with multi-national organizations and across cultures · Strong sense of responsibility · A good team player and problem solver · Domestic and international travel may be required
