Job purpose:
- Carry out design work of unit in accordance with project schedule.
- Prepare process calculations by use professional software.
- Prepare process deliverables, PFD, PID, PDS of equipment and instrument for lead engineer/senior engineer review/approve.
- Participate in review meeting, PID review, HAZOP, model review….
- Secondary activities of pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup as required.
- Clarify with vendor for enquiry.
- Open minded to new technology.
Main duties:
- Drafts PFD’s and PID’s with Process Engineers and Designers inputs according to project schedule.
- Upholds Technip standards of quality, applicable codes and project & industry standards and practices.
- Assist process engineer in planning and managing of process deliverables.
- Initial process calculations for pumps, hydraulics, PSVs, heat-exchangers, etc.
- Prepare all process deliverables.
- Provides support to all project activities, from engineering to start-up, as required.
- Assists in development of a process knowledge databases for studies, projects and/or operations (capturing and reporting events & experiences within studies, projects & operations and writing of technical notes).
- May participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
- Reports own activities within studies, projects and/or operations management.
- Learn and follow Process Department Working Procedure for all process design execution.

Qualifications Requirements:
Must have:
Education background
- University chemical engineering degree
Knowledge / Skill
- Theoretical knowledge of process design methods
- Applies standards of CAD software used
- Familiar with engineering software applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

- Relevant professional registration
- With experience in P&ID drafting with SPPID
