Good english is a must. JOB SUMMARY A Principal Electrical Engineer, worked as system leader, leads and/or advises design teams focused on significant and unique design projects and challenges. Delivers projects through the entire product development process into production. As a system leader, you will be expected to demonstrate a level of expertise in a particular area that matches or exceeds the expertise of customers. Consults on system architectures, assess technical requirements and competencies needed during quoting and oversee design progressions during product developments. Mentors and leads others in the organization to build team members design capability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 61 Technically lead project teams through the full development cycle, including planning, design, validation, and pilot build. 61 Leads and/or advises embedded hardware design and validation on significantly challenging and unique product applications 61 Leads or advises on new, unique, different and difficult embedded hardware design utilizing standard tools 61 Drive product design and implementation at a system level across multiple disciplines of communication product design. 61 Leads and/or advises system architecture analysis and clarifies design requirements to define the appropriate architecture for the design team. 61 Evaluating/selecting electronic components, and makes recommendations to component mfg, regarding roadmaps and feature enhancements 61 Communicates technical aspects of a project effectively to customer, and can lead customer engagements. 61 Lead design innovations and potential patentable solutions 61 Lead resolution of complex design issues and manages design trade-offs 61 Train/coach other engineers in design analysis and tools 61 May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 61 Coordinates with professional networks to answer unique issues related to Industry or specific sector, regulatory and safety standards. 61 Broad knowledge developing high complexity projects that have required multiple Electrical Engineering Design specializations or competencies, and the dependency to other disciplines, including Mechanical/Thermal, Firmware, etc. 61 In-depth knowledge and use of key development tools and design standards: Component derating, DFMEA, oscilloscopes, Simulation tools, etc. 61 12+ years of experience in telecom, network product hardware & architect design, proficient in Broadcom/Marvell/Microchip large switching chip hardware design experience, extensive experience in system level clocking and synchronization. 61 Familiar with product arch including PON OLT, SD-WAN, POE Switch, Datacenter Switch, etc. 61 Rich experience on the host design for Optical modules, including SFP, XFP, QSFP, QFP-DD. Good understanding on the optical characterizations of the modules.
