*Key Responsibilities · Support the implementation of new product launches to optimize sales and profit. · Support APAC to drive business performance by optimizing the product portfolio in the respective market segments. · Identifying business opportunities and achieving incremental growth by new product launches and product range extensions · Assist with the evaluation of the markets based on thorough insights of customer requirements, competitors and distribution networks and adapts the global/regional product strategies to increase opportunities for our product offering. · Have the knowledge of automotive vehicle population and initiate and lead projects to increase market coverage of the responsible product lines and manage the projects with professional tools and process. · Provide technical support to both internal & external sales staff, distributors and end user customers. · Monitor competitor activity and benchmark competitive products. · Evaluate and advise on price positioning of existing and new products. · Work closely with Marketing Manager to produce sales support material that highlight the value proposition of the respective products. · Support the implementation of product promotion activities. · Implement the programs to improve sales effectiveness for the new and existing products. · Liaise with the APAC product team to ensure regional consistency of message. · Support the implementation of the product strategy through market segmentation and effective brand positioning. · Following APAC NPI Gate process, work with APAC NPI team to ensure the competitiveness of the launched products as per the sales needs and market demand. · Overseeing the business performance of the product lines and driving the business by adequate channel marketing and sales support as catalogue, customer loyalty programs, or other promotional activities
*Qualifications (Education/ Experience/ Key Competencies) Education: · Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing, Business Management, or any related field Experience: · More than 8 years working experience in Engineering and Product Marketing background in automotive aftermarket or automatic industry, experience in Engine & Sealing product is a clear advantage. Other related industries can also be considered. · Strong B2B marketing orientation · Proven ability to manage multiple projects from development through to execution. · Strong teamwork and excellent communication, influencing & negotiation skills. · Fluent in both verbal and written English, excellent written and presentation skills · Leverage business opportunities and achieve incremental growth by new product launches, product range extensions or brand extensions. · High aptitude for the Microsoft suite of products and other computer-based technology · Strong mechanical aptitude.
