工作职责: 1. 教学相关: o 时刻保持重视所有学生的关爱精神 o 教授A-Level和IGCSE物理课程,确保课程内容符合考试大纲要求 o 运用各种适合的教学方法,主导以激励的方式教授指定班级的课程 o 日常备课和上课,并主导学科班级的日常教学工作 o 向教学总管汇报教学计划 o 及时有效地批改学生作业,根据预习时间表安排预习,维持评估程序,并根据部门或学校要求撰写报告 o 按要求准备学生报告,确保与家长保持积极联系 o 期布置和批改作业,以促进学生的学习 o 按教务要求监考 o 酌情为申请大学的学生撰写推荐信 o 接受指派的其他职责,以提升学生的学习体验和学校的顺利运作 o 积极参与学校的拓展课程(CCAs) o 出席所有部门相关会议

Position Title: Teacher of Physics Reporting To: Head of Teaching & Learning Location: Lucton School Shanghai
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: 1. Education & Qualifications: o Holder of Bachelor Degree related to subject specialism. o Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification (such as PGCE). o Good command of English in listening, speaking, reading and writing. 2. Experience: o At least 2 years of teaching experience in A-Level and/or IGCSE Physics, with familiarity in the curriculum and examination requirements. o Experience in international/bilingual schools is preferred. o Proficient in physics experiment operations and demonstration skills. o
Key Responsibilities: 1. Teaching and Learning: o To contribute to the establishment of a caring ethos which values all students o Teach A-Level and IGCSE Physics courses, ensuring the curriculum content aligns with the examination syllabus requirements. o To teach assigned classes in a competent and stimulating manner, making use of an appropriate range of teaching methods o To prepare lessons and courses, and make an appropriate contribution to curriculum development and in doing so to lead the learning and teaching in their classes o Liaise with Head of Teaching & Learning in terms of teaching plans o To mark and correct students' work effectively and timeously, to set preps in accordance with the prep timetables, to maintain assessment procedures and prepare reports as required by the department and in accordance with School procedures o To prepare student reports as required and ensure positive liaison with parents o Set and mark homework on a regular basis to enhance students’ learning o Invigilate exams as required o To write references, where appropriate, for students applying to university o Accept other duties assigned to enhance the learning experience of the students and smooth functioning of the School o To actively contribute to the School’s Co-Curricular Programme o Attend all meetings
2. Community Engagement and Parental Involvement: o Provide academic guidance and support to students, helping them achieve excellent results in relevant physics subjects. o Promote the school's multicultural ethos and international mission. o To participate in ‘Open Days’ for prospective students and parents o To report on students' work and to discuss students' progress with their parents o Collaborate closely with the science department and other teachers to share teaching experiences and resources.
