Position Purpose(Overview of the position)
This position is mainly responsible for FEA simulation and provides simulation results and optimization suggestion for specific product performance. He / She support project development; provide professional expertise to ensure that the projects meet the customer and company requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
61 FEA simulation for structure static and dynamic, structure mode, sealing, vibration, etc.
61 Create professional simulation report.
61 Follow standard CAE rule to validate the product design in early development phase.
61 Global network within M+H in case free CAE capacity is available.
61 Discussion with product engineer for idea exchange to establish CAD model.
61 Discussion with customer about simulation results and optimization.
61 Support for new idea validation from product & design engineers.
61 Support for quality issue, trouble shooting and solution searching
Candidate Specification
Education Qualification
Master degree or above, major in vehicle & engine, mechanics and mechanical engineer
No. of Years of Experience 0-2 years, and special with talent, excellent master or PhD can be considered as well.
Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills) FEA simulation experience
theoretical and material mechanics, static and dynamic fundamental,
numerical analysis; finite element theory
Preferred previous experiences Plastic component development experience
Engine or Vehicle research/development relevant experience
Programming background, such as Fortran, C++
Work experience in OEM or tier 1 supplier is preferred
Knowledge & experience in CFD simulation is a plus
Functional Skills Be good at MS-office software and presentation skill
Basic vehicle structure knowledge under hood
Behavioural Skills Good communication skill, good team work
Fluent in English
Self stimulation on new knowledge and approach
Special Knowledge/Skills Required Familiar with usual simulation software ANSA, Abaqus, Tosca, Hyperworks, etc.
