Job Overview: We are seeking a mature, experienced, dynamic sales executive with experience in establishing/managing business relationships with China apparel brands. This will entail working cooperatively with fellow Bemis factory sales team members in Asia to secure and/or maintain Bemis product selection (specification). As part of factory sales role, it plays a key role in developing and growing strategic relationships with key factory accounts, identifying and prioritizing the best growth opportunities and coordinating internal resources needed to support best opportunities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (As China brand sales): 61 Identify key decision makers at the China brands, the extent of their decision-making authority in terms of product selection/secure specification and work to ensure that market share is protected and/or increased as a result. 61 Promote and educate China brands on advantages of Bemis products and applications. 61 Establish new accounts by qualifying opportunities. 61 Work directly with designers, developers, product directors on specification processes, technical issues, supply chain management, and forecasting (internally and externally). 61 Work with Bemis Planning and Account Management Teams to ensure effective production, stocking and delivery. 61 Coordinate technical service between customer and Bemis local offices. 61 Provide regular reporting via Customer Management Software (among other tools such as call reports and summaries) that identify competitive threats, sales opportunities, product transitions, market trends, product development needs, etc. 61 Attend trade shows 61 Up to 50% travel is required to ensure active communication, an ongoing/visible presence and strong relationships are in place at China brands level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (As factory sales): 61 Work directly with factories in your territory to achieve your sales target. 61 Visit customers routinely. 61 Work directly with different levels & functions of people in assigned factories1(purchaser, designer/developer, directors, technical team etc..) on specification process. 61 Identify, communicate and address unique cultural issues from a business perspective to ensure Bemis is viewed as “local”. 61 Provide market trends, market need and VOC input to the Market Executive Team (MET), and the Product Marketing and Product development team.
Requirements: 61 Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. With 5+ years’ sales experience in different industries. The garment industry is not a must. 61 Demonstrate passion and knowledge of outdoor/sportswear/Intimates apparel products. 61 Assertive sales acumen: Excellent qualifying, prioritization, time management, organization, relationship building, presentation and communication skills. Demonstrate ability to grow sales at assigned accounts. 61 Fluent listening/written/spoken English and Mandarin. 61 Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and CRM system.
