1. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: The Sales and Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth and for developing strong business relationships in the designated market. The ideal candidate will have a background in shipping lines, NVOCC, and freight forwarding services, as well as a deep understanding of supply chain solutions. 1.1. Sales & Revenue Generation: - Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new business for shipping line, NVOCC and freight forwarding services; - Achieve sales targets by acquiring and maintaining key clients in the China market. 1.2. Business Development: - Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base; - Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs; - Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines, vendors, and industry stakeholders. 1.3. Customer Relationship Management: - Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships; - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements. 1.4. Operations Coordination: - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handling of freight operations; - Provide accurate pricing, quotes, and service options to clients. 1.5. Reporting & Analysis: - Maintain and update sales reports, client activity logs, and revenue projections; - Monitor sales performance metrics and recommend improvements where necessary.
2. Required Background and Skills: We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional with strong business acumen and expertise in logistics and freight forwarding. 2.1. Required background and experience: - Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in shipping lines, NVOCC, or freight forwarding sales within the China; - Strong understanding of the China and SEA logistics market, customs regulations, and industry standards. 2.2. Skills: - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail; - Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. 2.3. Other Requirements: - Existing client portfolio in the China market; - Proven track record in sales with stable work history; - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; - Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese; - Strong negotiation, networking, and communication skills; - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment; - Passion for working with people and building relationships; - Ability to perform under pressure and meet targets; - Responsiveness to all quotations and troubleshooting necessities.
