Act as the main point of contact for all Finance related matters within Messe Berlin China entities. Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Outsourced Financial Services Management & Daily Operations 61 Manage relationships with external accounting service providers and ensure the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of outsourced accounting and financial reporting. 61 Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely billing, collections, and payments. 61 Review and verify financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies. 61 Support both internal and external audit processes.
Budgeting & Forecasting 61 Prepare annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts by collaborating with various departments to gather relevant data. 61 Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and propose corrective actions when necessary.
Internal Controls & Compliance 61 Ensure adherence to internal control procedures, local tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. 61 Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as needed. 69 Financial Systems & Process Improvement 61 Assist in the implementation and optimization of the ERP system (Kingdee), including but not limited to testing, data migration, system configuration, and monitoring project progress. 61 Drive continuous improvement of financial processes.
Participate in ad hoc finance projects and undertake other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: 61 Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines. 61 Minimum 8 years of solid experience in financial management or GL accounting in a MNC environment with exposure to multi-location operations. 61 Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. 61 Highly independent, detail-oriented, and responsible, with strong self-drive and ownership. 61 Familiarity with foreign currency transactions and compliance requirements. 61 General knowledge of Hong Kong and Thailand tax regulations is a plus. 61 Experience with ERP systems (Kingdee) is a plus. 61 Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
