The Chief Staff Trainee is a key position within the Executive Office, designed to groom future leaders for the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to high-level decision-making processes, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic initiatives. The trainee will work closely with the CEO and other senior executives, supporting a wide range of activities that drive strategic alignment, operational excellence and organizational efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Support and Project Management** - Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, providing research, analysis, and project management support. - Support the coordination of cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. - Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for senior management and executive meetings.
2. **Executive Support** - Provide administrative and logistical support to the CEO, including calendar management, meeting organization, etc. - Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and information flow.
3. **Policy and Process Development** - Assist in the review and development of organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines. - Support process improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and recommending solutions.
4. **Data Analysis and Reporting** - Gather and analyze data to support decision-making, providing insights and recommendations based on findings. - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project progress.
5. **Stakeholder Engagement** - Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and challenges, and facilitate the development of solutions. - Support the organization of internal and external events, including conferences, workshops, and executive retreats.
6. **Special Projects and Ad-Hoc Tasks** - Support special projects as assigned by the Chief Staff Officer or senior management. - Handle ad-hoc requests and assignments, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
**Qualifications:**
1. **Education** - Master or PhD in Biotechnology and related field.
2. **Experience** - 0-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate or public sector environment. - Internship or trainee experience in a similar role is a plus.
