Due to the rapid growth of our company we offer a unique new position for a Project Purchasing Manager. As Project Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for new business quote & cost optimization, new project development control, support supplier base development as well as internal purchasing process improvement.

As Project Purchasing Manager you are also prepared to work globally in different countries and cultures. You will work closely with suppliers, buyers, Project management, R&D, quality, finance & other related function teams.


Job description

61 Lead project purchasing team and support plant project buyers to achieve project purchasing KPI.
61 Lead to complete & optimize new business quote for supplier strategy & material cost & investment.
61 Work in multiple project teams on behalf of purchasing, coordinate issues/escalation related to suppliers& purchasing.
61 Overall supplier sourcing & development timing & cost control according to project target, make sure sample delivery on time/smooth launch.
61 Work with commodity team to define supplier strategy according to project demand.
61 Internal project purchasing process creation & improvement, approval.
61 Attend meetings related to new project sourcing & escalations.
61 Other tasks assigned by function head.


What do we expect from you?

61 Bachelor degree in (Mechanical) Engineering or Business Administration
61 10+ years’ experience within automotive and purchasing, 5+ years’ experience in management role.
61 Strategic purchasing thinking
61 Good technical, analytical and organizational skills able to develop and drive clear processes
61 Excellent stakeholder management skills are required
61 Excellent interpersonal skills
61 A flexible approach in order to achieve business goals
61 An understanding of wider business issues
61 Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
61 Perfect PPT & Excel skill, very attention to detail
61 Willingness to travel (20%).
