The EH&S Analyst will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the TE's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, ensuring compliance with both global standards and China’s national and local regulatory requirements. This role involves risk assessment, training, incident investigation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and objectives that align with company and local regulatory standards and engage in proactive measures to enhance workplace safety. 2. Implement and monitor the EHS programs including S.A.F.E, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ensuring all business procedures comply with global and local EHS standards. 3. Engage with local regulatory agencies to manage compliance, required filings, permits, and external inspections. 4. Conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments and implement corrective measures to mitigate exposure and ensure a safe working environment. 5. Perform incident investigations including analysis of Serious Injury and Fatality potential (SIFp), and near misses, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with EHS requirements. 6. Ensure timely follow-up on corrective and preventative actions to close all identified risks effectively. 7. Organize and execute internal and external EHS audits, including onsite inspections to evaluate workplace safety and environmental compliance. 8. Conduct periodic self-assessments and compliance reviews to establish preventive controls. 9. Prepare and submit internal and external reports on incident data, EHS metrics, regulatory filings as required by local authorities. 10. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to raise awareness among employees and promote a proactive safety culture. 11. Ensure compliance with occupational health regulations, including workplace ergonomics and employee well-being programs. 12. Maintain and update emergency response plans to ensure preparedness for potential workplace incidents. 13. Manage programs related to pollution prevention, energy efficiency, hazardous waste disposal, and overall environmental sustainability. 14. Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, in compliance with China’s hazardous chemical management regulations (MEE Order No.12, 2020). 15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes.
Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. - Min 3 years’ of experience in EHS, preferably in a multinational manufacturing or industrial setting. - Familiarity with China’s Work Safety Law, Environmental Protection Law, and other local EHS regulations. - Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant EHS management systems. - Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work cross-functionally and engage with both internal teams and regulatory agencies. - Proficiency in English is preferred for global EHS reporting and communication., CET-4 or above - Experience with EHS software (e.g., Velocity, SharePoint) is a plus.
