Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Leading new products development and/or introduce new technologies to the electronics market segment.
Prototyping and making unique products with strong value proposition using 3M technology, customer and market understanding, competitive product knowledge.
Creating intellectual property and strategy to establish a sustainable competitive advantage.
Working with Global teams for knowledge and technology sharing, developing strong working partnerships/networks inside the 3M EMSD organization (China & Global), 3M Corporate Labs and other external groups
Supporting Manufacturing programs having major impact to the COGS initiative.

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Chemistry or Polymer Engineering
Minimum 5yrs of polymer processing and formulating experiences
Rich experience in new product development and innovation
Good communication skills, good global teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on tape products, Pressure Sensitive Adhesives, thermal setting films, liquid adhesives formulation development
Experience on EMI/EMC products development (electrically or magnetically conductive materials) or thermally conductive materials development.
Fluent oral and written English
Location: Shanghai, 3M R&D center, China

Travel: May include up to 25% [domestic/international]
